An Absent Mind – Eric Rill

Diane March 29, 2015 Books

Another book about Alzheimers, which I cannot get enough of after seeing my mom’s own disease progress. Saul is diagnosed with Alzheimers in his early 70’s after leaving the house without his pants. The progression of his disease is told from his perspective, and from his wife Monique’s, daughter, Florence and son, Joey. Sometimes funny but overall tragic to have him chronicle his own mental blips, and the relief he has not having to hide it any longer.  Sweet and wonderful read.
